Raycast

The Synci extension for Raycast brings your bank, investment and crypto accounts into the Raycast launcher. Find a payment, check a balance, explore your spending or ask a question about your finances without leaving your keyboard. It works on macOS and Windows.

Install and sign in

1. Connect your accounts in Synci first. The extension only reads what Synci has already synced.
2. Install the extension from the Raycast Store.
3. Open any Synci command in Raycast and choose Sign in with Synci. Your browser opens the Synci consent screen.
4. Choose the accounts you want Raycast to see, then approve.

There are no API keys or OAuth apps to configure. If you add more accounts to Synci later, run Reconnect Synci to update which accounts Raycast can access.

Commands

• Search Transactions: find payments by payee, description or exact amount. Filter by account, date, status and category, then open the details.
• View Accounts: balances grouped by currency, with an overview per account showing balance history, recent activity and bank details such as IBAN and BIC.
• View Holdings: investment and crypto positions with quantities, prices and market values.
• Show Recent Spending: where your money went over the last week, last 30 days or this month, grouped by merchant or category, with an optional chart.
• Open Connection Status: spot bank connections that need attention and jump to Synci to fix them.
• Reconnect Synci: change which accounts the extension can access.
• Synci Balance (macOS only): a menu bar item showing the total of selected accounts. Enable it in the extension's settings in Raycast.

Ask Synci with Raycast AI

Open Ask Synci in Raycast, or mention @Synci in AI Chat, and ask in plain language. For example, "How much did I spend at this merchant last month?" or "Which connections need attention?". The AI tools use the same sign-in as the commands and are read-only.

This feature needs Raycast Pro and an active Synci subscription. The regular commands work without Raycast AI.

Your data

You choose which accounts to share, and access is read-only: the extension cannot move money, place trades or change your records. Nothing is cached locally apart from display preferences and the menu bar account selection, and full bank identifiers are only fetched when you open account details. When you use Ask Synci, the data needed to answer is sent to Raycast AI and may remain in your chat history, so Raycast's AI privacy settings apply. You can sign out at any time from the action menu.

Balances and holdings reflect the most recent sync from your provider, so check the "as of" time shown next to a balance.

Troubleshooting

• An account is missing: run Reconnect Synci and make sure the account is selected.
• A balance looks stale: balances update when the provider syncs. Open Open Connection Status to check the connection is healthy.
• A command fails: choose Copy Error Details in the action menu. The report contains no credentials or financial data, and you can paste it when contacting support.
