Missing bank accounts or credit cards

Why an account or credit card might be missing from Synci, and how to add it.

If an account or credit card you expected isn't showing up in Synci, check the following.

You didn't include the account during setup

After you connect a bank, Synci asks which accounts to sync. Accounts you untick are marked Not included. Synci keeps them, but they're disabled: they show as Disabled and never sync.

To include an account later, renew the connection. Open the disabled account under Banks and click Renew consent, or open the connection's page (open the three-dot menu next to the bank and choose Manage) and click Renew consent there. After you've logged in to your bank, Synci lists all the accounts on the connection again, including any new ones, and you can tick the ones you want to sync.

The account is new at your bank

If you opened the account or card after connecting your bank, Synci won't pick it up on its own. Renew the connection as described above, and tick the new account when Synci lists your accounts.

Your bank doesn't share that type of account

For some banks, we unfortunately do not support all types of accounts. This is either because our open banking provider does not support it, or because your bank doesn't provide data for that product.

When you pick your bank after clicking New connection, Synci shows either Supports card accounts or Might not support card accounts. For a bank you've already connected, you'll find Supports card accounts on the connection's About tab. If your bank might not support card accounts, your credit card may not be available through open banking.

Looking for a credit card?

Synci treats a credit card from your bank like any other bank account. It's listed with your current and savings accounts under Banks, not as a separate account type, so look for the card by its name or number.

If this makes you unable to use Synci, you can contact us to receive a refund of your latest subscription payment, subject to our Refund Policy.
