Banks
Europe & the United Kingdom
Synci offers comprehensive banking coverage across Europe through our open-banking partner GoCardless, connecting you to 2500+ banks and financial institutions in 31 countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
All European connections use official PSD2-compliant APIs for secure data handling. Because of PSD2 rules, these connections use a time-limited consent that you renew periodically. See the Financial connections article for details.
Beyond standard transaction fetching, many banks also support:
Pending transactions: See authorized purchases before they clear at your bank.
Credit card syncing: Sync credit card transactions and balances directly to your budgeting app.
Historical data: Retrieve multiple months of past transactions during setup.
Use the country filter on synci.io/banks to verify coverage in your region.
New Zealand
Synci supports New Zealand banks through our integration with Akahu, New Zealand's open-finance provider. NZ connections work a little differently from European ones:
Enduring consent: Your connection does not expire on a fixed schedule, so there is no periodic renewal to worry about.
Manage in one place: From the connection's Manage page you can add banks, remove banks, or revoke Synci's access entirely.
New Zealand banks are listed alongside European ones at synci.io/banks; filter by New Zealand to see them.
Brokerages
Synci connects to investment platforms and brokerages around the world. A brokerage connection gives you:
Holdings: Your positions, including symbol, quantity, and market value.
Balances: Cash and account balances.
Account activity: Trades, dividends, contributions, withdrawals, fees, and more, with full trade details such as units, price per unit, and the instrument involved.
Note that most brokerages make activity data available with roughly a one-day delay, so brokerage connections sync once per day.
Browse supported brokerages at synci.io/brokerages.
Crypto exchanges
Crypto-exchange connections work like brokerage connections: you get your holdings, balances, and account activity, synced once per day.
Browse supported exchanges at synci.io/crypto.
Security & account access
Synci operates on a read-only basis, regardless of institution type. We never see your login credentials, and we cannot move funds or perform any actions on your accounts. Connections are established through the official APIs of our regulated data partners, and you can revoke access at any time by disabling or deleting the connection.
Missing an institution?
If your bank, brokerage, or exchange isn't listed, you can request on our feedback board. Coverage depends on our data partners, but we're happy to look into whether an institution can be added.
