While every bank connection supports standard transaction fetching, many institutions offer advanced capabilities that Synci leverages to enhance your automation:
Pending transactions
See your purchases in Synci and your budgeting app as soon as they are authorized, even before they are cleared by the bank. The supported banks list will indicate if an institution provides this real-time data.
Credit card accounts
Synci isn't just for checking accounts. Many institutions allow you to sync your credit card transactions and current balances directly to destinations, giving you a complete picture of your debt and spending.
Historical data
Depending on the bank, you can often fetch several months of historical transaction data during the initial setup. This allows you to backfill your budget and see your spending trends immediately.

Note: Synci only requests read-only access. We never see your login credentials, and we cannot move money or perform actions on your accounts.
Pro Tip: Real-time budgeting
If your bank supports Pending Transactions, you can configure your bank accounts to automatically sync them almost the moment you swipe your card, depending on your plan. Advanced and Pro plan users can poll for new bank account data every 30 minutes. This keeps your budget up-to-the-hour accurate without waiting days for the bank to finalize the purchase.
