Save settings for a source

If sources expire/become invalid, ensure that the settings for that source are saved until the source has been reactivated or added again.

    This is still a big issue, encountered the exact same problem today, having to reconfirm 7 accounts.

    I had the same idea. “Source,” with its settings and budget account assignment, could be an independent object to which you could assign a Bank account connection. Like this, all settings would be preserved when the Bank connection expires. Now, I have to set everything from scratch for each Bank account every 90 days, which is inconvenient.

    EDIT: This morning, I got information that there was a connection error to my bank (after 9 days of using it) and that the source has been deleted. It means that I have to setup everything again… This is what I was referring to.

    A bit of context, I received the following email,

    'It seems we're having trouble connecting to your bank account, and had to disable the connection. You can reconnect it by adding a new source.

    Error: Couldn't update account transactions (401)

    Details: Access has expired or it has been revoked. To restore access reconnect the account.'

    When I then added the source again, all previous settings were gone. It took quite a bit of work to set everything up again, especially since the source had multiple accounts.
