We are very focused on providing our users with both privacy and security. We do not collect any information that isn't necessary for delivering the service, and your data is never shared with undisclosed third parties. We do use some third party tools like Sentry to log errors and provide our customers with support, but any sensitive information these logs may contain is scrubbed before they leave our servers.

Your transaction data is never shared with any party outside of Synci, except for YNAB.
To make sure your account and data is secure, we recommend using a strong password that has not been used elsewhere. Password managers like iCloud Keychain, 1Password, or Bitwarden are a must these days, and we heavily recommend using one.

We also recommend you enable two-factor authentication (2FA). This ensures that even if your password somehow goes awry, bad actors will not be able to access your account. To enable 2FA, go to Options & Support > Account Settings. You can also click here.
