Get a list of all supported institutions. Use the institution IDs when creating new financial connections.

Explicit boolean coercion. A bare string in allowedFilters becomes a partial (LIKE) filter, so filter[supported]=false would match nothing on a boolean column while still opting out of the default scope above — quietly returning every institution, retired and excluded ones included.

filter[domain]stringquery

Filter by data domain: bank returns banking institutions (GoCardless, Akahu, Stripe); asset returns brokerages and crypto exchanges (SnapTrade). DEMO is deliberately absent from bank HERE, and deliberately present in the identically-named filter on the connections and accounts endpoints. The two answer different questions:

This endpoint is DISCOVERY: "which banks could I connect?" Demo banks are excluded on purpose so they cannot outrank real banks in the picker. Clients surface them through a dedicated affordance built on ?filter[integrator]=DEMO.
Connections / accounts are OWNERSHIP: "which of my connections are banks?" A demo bank the user deliberately connected is one of their bank connections, and hiding it there just loses it.

Reversing this one line would put the demo banks into the ordinary bank list alongside real ones.
